Today at PGL, everyone was finishing up their Mythbuster assignment. Three groups presented their Open Project today. At lunch, C made different flavors of chocolate because she didn't bring it in last week. She made MUSHROOM chocolate! Luckily I got chocolate with Munchies. Now here I am updating this blog you are reading. Now here I am signing off. Good day, everyone!

Today, it was a pretty normal day. We were working very hard with our Mythbusters project and some people were working on their photostory project. In the afternoon, S,S and O(me) presented our prezi. After us, two other groups presented their open projects. C made some chocolate and guess what one of the flavours was. MUSHROOM CHOCOLATE! I mean seriously C? Well, like I said before, it was a pretty great day. See you later everyone!

Today was an average day. We came in, got our notebooks out of the bin and wrote our inspiration. Then, we worked on our Mythbusters projects until around 11:25 when we watched some presentations. Then we went outside for recess. When we came back in we finished the presentations and worked on our Mythbusters projects some more. Then we played a game. Overall, it was an average day.

Today at PGL we did many fun things: In the morning to start off the day we had a brainteaser like usual. After that we worked on our Mythbuster projects, The two recesses we both indoors so I played Bananagrams. Then in the afternoon we ate lunch, and we went to our first assembly! Finally we watched I's and C's Prezi about chocolate. It was yummy because they brought in taste tests. Over all in was a good day!

Today would be (in my opinion) considered a normal day. We worked on our Mythbusters project and worked on it for almost the whole day until we went to an assembly. It was for the girls and boys basketball teams. C and I presented their chocolate presentation and I found it one of the best presentations. They even handed out chocolate which I would rate as 10 out of 10.

Today, most of our class participated in Aussie X. Two Australians nicknamed Richo and Pup taught us how to play Aussie Rules Football, or Footie, which is much different than the football we play here. First of all, you have to bounce the ball every 10 meters you run with it. Second, there are four goal posts, and you have to kick the ball through them. Finally, you can't throw the ball, you must handpass it (sort of like an underhand volley). Also, they taught us some Australian phrases, including GoodOnya mate (like good job, or well done) and You little rippa (a celebratory phrase). All in all, it was a pretty fun day! Good bye. S.F
Today was an awesome day. Aussie X taught us about the Australian sport footy. This game was really amusing though still challenging. I hope I get chance to play it again!!! Thanks, I.Z.

P.G.L. news reporting live
Last night the Ottawa Senators destroyed the Montreal Canadians. That's probably why everyone came to PGL in a good mood today. They are moving onto the second round of the playoffs. Montreal came out strong in the first period but Craig Anderson shut them down. Soon after the Senators scored 2 goals, the Canadians scored a goal to pull them within 1 but for the rest of the game, Ottawa was the better team and they scored 4 unanswered goals! Final score 6-1.
Today at P.G.L. we had a great day. We had a tough brainteaser to start the day off, then worked on our open project until recess. During recess we met up with our friend and played an edited game of man-hunt (you have to gently throw the soccer ball at the runners). After a delicious lunch we continued to work on our project.

Hi mom and happy mothers day to all!
I am a student at Pgl. What a surprise. I happen to be one of only a few people to finish their Open Project! Woo-hoo! I am the undisputed king of Scratch in my PGL class, as well. T and A said their brainteaser was hard, but they haven't seen anything! I had a brainteaser called "Three-sided Puzzlers", and that was sooo hard. It's supposedly "easy." Do you think gifted learners are all high achievers? I'm trying to bust that myth with a partner. His name will be kept secret for unidentified reasons. I made a racing game for my Open Project. It was cool, and had background music! I paid $0.99 for the background music, so I hope I got a good mark.
